How can I find out if a laptop is multi voltage before buying it?
im looking to buy a multi voltage laptop because i will be living in europe for a few years. i like the dell ones ive looked at but i cant find any info on their site on wheather or not any of their laptops are multi voltage (110-240v). where can i find this info on not only Dell computers but other ones as well, considering im shopping online??????

Almost all laptops have this feature now so really you should be asking which ones don't voltage switch. The best you can do is decide on a model you really like and then call the company to ask them.

The online sites should ideally contain the electrical specifications. It is easier if you are in a retail store; just look at the power pack: the ratings will be on it.

Any good manufacturer will have the information within the spec's for the laptop that your looking at. The only thing your going to need is an adapter that fit the ac connector.
