Is a power surge protecter necessary to use a laptop in Europe?
I don't need a voltage converter because my laptop works with 100-240 volt. I also already bought an adapter but do i need a power surge protecter? or would it work fine without it? i'm leaving in 6 days so i'd appreciate answers asap & don't just guess.

Answer 1 :
y would u need one?
Answer 2 :
It is not necessary but is always a good idea to protect against power surges.
Answer 3 :
Surge protectors will attempt to level out spikes and surges. Surges, unlike spikes (short peak voltage lasting under 1 second) are longer lived increases in voltage which can blow out your computer, the charging circuit or both........ It would be wise to pack one or buy one when you get there since it would be difficult to find a Euro based surge protector in the US......but definitely get one for the time you are away and gift it to someone before you leave to come back.
Answer 4 :
