Answer 1 :
yea it's better to carry it with u
Answer 2 :
It's not a bad idea but when traveling through Europe, you really want to have as little as possible to worry about with regard to luggage, or anything that might be the least bit unnecessary. They have cyber cafes EVERYWHERE!
Answer 3 :
Yeah if it's small. Don't forget to lock it every time you place it on the table.
Answer 4 :
Well, if most of the time, you need to ask the manager for the access code as for as I know, but I would do it. It would be very useful for the weather and such.
Answer 5 :
bring it defo! id b dead without my laptop nd computer! evn if u av 2 pay it dont mata! pay it anyways!!
Answer 6 :
I went to Europe and i recommend u dont cause unless u have portable internet it will cost you sooo much!!! It cost about 2 euro a minute which is about 3 dollars!! so i recommend taking a taxie or just going at it! its not so hard once u r there cause almost everyone speaks english or enought to help you. If they dont just show them a map. you can get them for free almost everywhere, hotels, subways, trains, etc. Goodluck and have fun!!!

Ex a comp game bought in Europe on an American laptop?

Do PC games have regional codes? Ex a comp game bought in Europe on an American laptop?

Answer 1 :
PC games are not region locked. The only problem you would have would be the language. But since it's the UK, where they speak English, you shouldn't have any problems except for the spelling, where they use our instead of or, like colour instead of color.

What do I need for me to plug in my laptop?

I"m American about to travel to Europe and i'm taking my laptop. What do I need for me to plug in my laptop?
I'm heading to Spain and my laptop adapter says it ranges from about a 110 V- 240, and also a 50-60 hz scale. Do I just use a power adapter or a voltage converter? Both? PLEASE HELP!

Answer 1 :
We purchased a plug adapter at local electric shop that converters North American plug to fit their three prong round outlets.........
Answer 2 :
You'll be OK voltage-wise. But buy a Spanish cable once you're there.
Answer 3 :
Most of Europe (except Britain, Ireland, and perhaps one or two other places) use a standard two-prong round outlet. If your laptop is good up to 240V then you're fine, you won't need to pack along a bulky converter; all you'll need is a simple plug adapter, which you should be able to find in any electronics shop. I'd recommend buying them stateside, but you can often find things like that in airports or other traveler-frequented areas... sometimes even hotels and hostels sell them. One tip, though: some older outlets will have a reverse grounding prong, usually on the upper side, so make sure whatever plug adapter you get has a hole for it (if it's the "full round" variety) or just get the narrow plug variety, which is usually narrow, six-sided and just has the two round prongs... a ground sticking out from the wall outlet wouldn't hinder that kind. It might not be a bad idea to have two or three of those, actually, in case you bring along one or two other appliances which are also 110-240V compliant. Just remember that if your travels DO take you towards the British Isles that their plugs are not standard European--they have those odd, bulky three-pronged plugs.
Answer 4 :
Don't just buy a cheap plug adapter---spend the extra money and buy a voltage converter. You can get a good one from places like Radio Shack for about $20. For something as expensive as a computer, you want to make sure it's protected. Many small appliances blow up when trying to use just a plug adapter.
