Any recommendations for a mini-laptop to be used in Europe?
We will be traveling to Amsterdam, Edinburgh, Northern England and London on holiday and business next month. My husband and I will need a small, lightweight laptop for business purposes. Thank you kindly.

12 inch Powerbook. MAC. Easily adjusts to different languages, time zones, etc. AND comes with a power adapter with interchangable prongs, great for international travel. Lightweight and durable and MACs don't get viruses. Very user friendly. I highly recommend it. Good luck!
Answer 2 :
I agree--MAC Powerbook. No viruses, and you don't need to lug around a power converter.

Any type of macintosh computer will due
Answer 5 :
The best computer for on-the-go is the Toughbook from Panisonic, it has a durable steel casing and can withstand a couple drops to the ground, but is very expensive, starting at $1500. A Dell however can do the job perfectly, but if you want to take the computer back home to use, you may want to look in to a Sony Viao or a Toshiba.
Answer 6 :
I would buy a used 12 inch iBook.
Answer 7 :
Probably like the first guy said. Macs dont get viruses because they are so annoying of a system that most people dont have the system so why bother creating a virus for a small sect. I would go with something under 7lbs. I use a dell inspiron e1705 its light weight but has a 17'' widescreen display so it isnt very small
Answer 8 :
13.1" MacBook. They are small, compact, and light. And, Windows XP will run on it too. By the way, when are you leaving for Europe? I WANT TO COME! LOL
