will a laptop still fry if the computer is shut off?
if i plug my laptop in europe with the travel adapter will it still fry the laptop while the computer is shut off.

Nope, unless the area it's in is REALLY hot.

It can because I went to Portugal and had a plug for my laptop and after 2 days the charger started to smoke and it caught fire even though my computer was off but I was lucky to put it out without any trouble so don't do it unless you use it for a few minutes or maybe an hour depending on the brand of the plug.
