Answer 1 :
Go to your local best buy or radio shack or even future shop. Tell them you need a European adapter and they will know EXACTLY what you need!
Answer 2 :
wal mart has a world power inverter. itl cover all of europe... enjoy... i went to italy and it was a blast... but wal mart has you covered
Answer 3 :
Switzerland has different shaped plugs from France/Spain/Italy (still two round pins, but the socket is a squashed hexagon instead of round). You can get all-in-one adapters which would be the best option. http://www.amazon.com/SunPak-TRAVEL-ADAPT-Universal-World-wide-Adapter/dp/B000JC5T82/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&s=electronics&qid=1215029701&sr=8-2 Check that the chargers for your laptop/phone/camera can handle 240V...if not you will fry your electronics unless you also bring a stepdown-voltage-converter with you....and even then I'd be dubious. Look on the charger for words like "Input 100-240V"...that would be OK.

International Mobile Broadband Europe - What is the best option?

International Mobile Broadband Europe - What is the best option?
Hey all, Myself and a team of individuals are going on a charity event across Europe for 10 days. It is a Treasure Hunt and has a lot of clues etc. I have acquired a netbook (small laptop) and we intend to use this for broadband. Does anyone know what the cheapest option for 10 days would be? Or have any advice for using mobile broadband in europe. Thanks All.

Answer 1 :
I don't think you will be able to find any really cheap deals for mobile broadband for use internationally in Europe. You could subscribe to The Cloud, or setup an account with Fon.com. Vodafone and the other large operators allow you to use their networks across the national borders. In general I think it would be much cheaper to just use free wifi at coffee shops etc.
Answer 2 :
Best way to avoid expensive roaming charges will be to get a local EU service even before you leave: http://www.rebelfone.com/Europe_simcards.asp Best part is you pay low & fixed rates wherever you are in EU.

Such thing as a electoral outlet converter used to plug U.S Appliances

Such thing as a electoral outlet converter used to plug U.S Appliances i.e lab tops when in Europe etc?
I don't know is it true that there's a device that sells online were I can buy like a electrical outlet plug where I can plug at the end of my lap top electrical cord, therefore plug it into a European electrical outlet not only that convert it to the same voltage/watts that my U.S laptop used it? I plan to travel with my laptop anywhere in Europe and South America where there electoral outlet is not the same as in the U.S.

Answer 1 :
Some airports do offer free internet access, you need an ethernet cable, not a usb cable. You plug in and open your browser. Some have wifi too, same system, the internet provider is the airport's own. Hotels usually make you pay for internet access, they have either wifi or cable. Same thing, you just plug in your computer and open your browser, the internet provider is the hotel's own. You can also leave the laptop at home and go to internet cafes to log in from time to time.
Answer 2 :
Lol, yes lugging a laptop around for a month is really impractical. You find internet cafes almost everywhere. Otherwise you would need a USB modem, but that's like mobile phone so you'd be like phoning international and it comes really expensive.
Answer 3 :
As Cabal told you, there are some free internet points at either airports or hotels and some that you have to pay for. The Hotel Verona, for example, offers free internet in Verona, Italy. He also told you about the internet access points that are widely available in many places here in Europe. However, there are also USB keys for internet here. I only use mine at home though and use public access points if I'm out visiting. They're generally faster access and can be cheaper. You also don't need to lug your laptop around with you when you're out exploring. The major phone providers here all have USB internet keys with prepaid SIMS. Wind, 3, Vodafone, and TIM all have them in Italy: http://www.tim.it/consumer/google/o104087/tariffa.do?gclid=CKTyguyv-KICFcKQ3wod-hlFjg , http://www.tre.it/public/internet_mobile.php?gclid=CNiKpoSw-KICFU2S3wodE3q_hg There are similar offers from other providers here and in other countries around Europe.
